Let’s Talk: Which African Artist Can Break These Wizkid’s Records?

Hi, Naijatwisters!

How are you guys today? Hope you are having a great day out there?

I’m here again with another interesting gist I will like all music lovers to discuss.

Before I proceed to take a moment to appreciate one of the most hardworking, powerful and talented artists that have.  placed Nigeria/Africa on the world-map pls scream StarBoi No.1 !!! We all know he deserves some accolades.

Several African Artists having been performing excellently in promoting their brands and also being a good ambassador for their individual country.

The African’s Super talented Singer Wizkidwho you will agree with me his the King Of Afrobeats have successfully gained the international recognition in less than 2years which most of other Africa artist found difficult to achieve.

In 2017, the 27-year old singer Wizkid was the first African Artist to headline a sold-out show The Royal Albert Hall, London with a confident and joyous set featuring Uk born Nigerian Artists Skepta and Tinie Tempah.

Last year Spotify announced Drake’s “One Dance” as the most listened track worldwide having accumulated 880 million streams which were co-written and co-produced by Wizkid. Wow!!

StarBoi was also the first Nigerian artist to be invited for the annual Coachella Valley music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, but was unable to attend the show based on his personal reasons.

Recently, Wizkid’s show themed“AfroRepublik” successfully sold out 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in London on the 26 of May 2018 sharing the same day with Champions League 2018 Final.

Now left to you guys to judge.
